The image of the ideal instructor of the future according to students and instructors
Abstract
The article deals with the issues related to the definition of the main personal and professional qualities that an ideal instructor of the future should possess. The relevance of the article is caused by the fact that there are currently no clear ideas on these issues. Currently available ideas about the ideal university instructor differ significantly, because they are considered from different points of view. Based on the study of the works of Russian authors, it is shown what qualities, in the opinion of students and instructors, the ideal instructor should have. In order to form the image of the ideal instructor of the future, the authors of the article conducted a survey of students and instructors of a number of Russian universities, which reflected the personal and professional qualities that, from their point of view, the ideal instructor should have in the future. The results of the study can be used by young university instructors who want to achieve excellence in the teaching profession, as well as university graduates who want to devote themselves to the profession of an instructor of higher education.
