Abstract

The objective of the study is to consider the organization of secondary medical vocational education in the regional context. The objectives were: to study the shortage of medical personnel; a brief description of educational institutions of secondary vocational education in the medical field of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia); to present the experience of the Yakutsk Medical College in opening branches in the region’s populated areas and organizing targeted training to provide mid-level personnel with medical specialists. The article presents the results of a survey of teachers of medical colleges on the use of teaching methods and technologies in vocational training (educational cases, paired work, projects, research activities, business games, etc.). The forms of partnership with employers (holding meetings, professional competitions, game production situations, weeks of specialties, etc.) are characterized. Research methods: study of scientific and pedagogical literature, Internet resources, survey of teachers, generalization of experience. The results may be of interest to specialists involved in training personnel for the healthcare system. In the future, it is necessary to consider the features of the organization of continuous medical education; interaction within the framework of the “school-college-university-clinic” model; forms of cooperation with additional educational organizations and medical colleges in other regions of the country.

Abstract

The article analyzes the research of scholars on the issue of environmental education of future teachers of Russian language and literature in the process of professional training taking into account modern realities. A pilot study was conducted to study the importance of eco-education and current environmental problems in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). The survey covered 52 students of the pedagogical direction of the Faculty of Philology. The results of the survey show that 71% of students have an idea of  ecology as a science that studies the interaction of living organisms with each other and their habitat; 59% are sure that climate change is due to the negative impact of humans on nature. In addition, the most pressing local environmental problems were identified, such as fires (57%), pollution of rivers, lakes, reservoirs (37%), poaching (9%), etc. It was revealed that only one fifth of students are ready to engage in environmental education of the younger generation in the future, in their professional activities. In this regard, the authors propose and describe the pedagogical experience of studying literary texts of regional authors who honor and respect national cultural values  in relation to the environment, within the framework of the disciplines of the “Module of educational activity”. Thus, the poem by M. D. Efimov “Ode to permafrost” is analyzed from the point of view of identifying the concept of “cold”, which is saturated with a large number of lexemes and phrases, including metaphorical ones. The authors emphasize that the concept of “cold” (in variations of “frost”, “winter”, “permafrost”) is an ecological resource for future generations in the context of preserving cultural and national identity.

Abstract

The article presents the results of the assessment of the development management of territorial educational systems using the example of Yakutsk. Based on the landscape approach to the study of education management problems, environmental factors that have a primary impact on the development of educational systems in northern cities are revealed. It is shown that processes at the local level determine the course and outcome of educational policies and reforms at the regional and national levels. Environmental factors can play both an accelerating role and can reduce the intensity and scale of management decisions. The characteristics of changes in the educational network under the influence of demographic, ethnic factors, and the situation on the labor market are given. The features of the management of the capital’s educational system in the context of dynamic changes are revealed: readiness to quickly react and respond to problems, transparency of management, involvement of various social groups in the processes of preparation and decision-making, participatory design. The study used a theoretical analysis of the literature on the assessment of the development management of educational systems, an analysis of the practice of municipal education authorities in Yakutia; a retrospective analysis of the processes and results of managing the implementation of the Yakutsk development program; surveys and in-depth interviews; analysis of data from the study of the subjective opinion of social network users; predictive assessment of the need for teaching staff. The conducted brief analysis of the impact of uncertainty and heterogeneity of the environment on the development of territorial educational systems of the northern regions allows us to conclude that in the conditions of the multidimensionality of the tasks being solved, management should be aimed at supporting the desired trends and understanding the natural trends in the development of the educational system. The results of the study can be used in the practice of managing the development of territorial educational systems, developing programs for the development of education.

Abstract

This paper examines differences in the success of solving technical and mathematical problems between young men and women. The purpose of the study is to identify factors influencing the results, as well as to analyze possible reasons for differences between the genders. In recent years, research in psychology and education has begun to focus on differences in success in solving technical and mathematical problems between boys and girls. Statistics show that boys are more likely to perform well in mathematics and engineering, although there are many exceptions among girls who achieve significant success in these areas. The reasons for such differences can be both biological and social. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to understand gender characteristics in education and the importance of creating equal conditions for learning. During the study, quantitative and qualitative analysis methods were used, including testing and surveys among students of various educational institutions. The results show that boys are more likely to demonstrate high results in solving technical problems, while girls show comparable results in mathematical problems. This may be due to different approaches to learning, motivation, and levels of self-confidence. The study also identified the need to adapt educational programs to take into account gender differences to improve the success of all students. In conclusion, the work highlights the importance of improving educational methods and tools to achieve optimal learning outcomes for both boys and girls in STEM disciplines. Given the need to train specialists in the field of natural and technical sciences, as well as recent data on the influence of the social environment on the success of girls and boys in these areas, the topic seems extremely important. The work represents an attempt to empirically study the success of solving mathematical, technical and spatial problems by girls and boys – high school students of rural secondary schools of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
