Digital transformation of schools in Kazakhstan: studying international practices
Abstract
Within the framework of the RFBR project “Cognitive models and algorithms for the formation of digital competence of a teacher in the context of digitalization of general education” (2020-2021), a series of scholarly and methodological seminars were held in the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to present the results of implementing the second stage of the RFBR project in 2021 and study international practices in the digital transformation of schools, the development of digital competencies of teachers. The article presents the results of the research work carried out using the methods of sociological research: interviewing, observation, study of documents of educational organizations and regulatory legal acts reflecting the state educational policy of Kazakhstan.
