Ontology of classical Russian literature

The article considers the influence of the Russian classical literature on the development of the society and the state. Despite the focus on ontological problems associated with the God, fate of the people and the state, the existence of the Russian ethnos, society, Spirit, Russian literature has failed to connect them with the reality of the events taking place. Moreover, this happened despite the fact that a huge number of writers and poets created precisely spiritual works. The reasons explaining this contradiction are considered. This is, first, the naivety of many Russian writers and their works; the desire of a certain part of Russian people for a fictional, invented life; poorly developed literature of the “middle class”; the orientation of literature and other arts of the Russian empire to the elite; and the contemplating nature of the Russian Spirit. The things in existence of Russian life remained completely incomprehensible to the public, and the literature did not help in clarifying this issue. As a result, a layer of “superfluous people” arose, which became ever wider, described with great skill. The 19^th-century Russian literature played an extremely important role, many writers became idols of the public, and their new books were perceived as a revelation. The statements of Bazarov and Insarov became models of thought, action, examples for a way of life. Since many processes in Russia were carried out in a natural way, they can be reviewed best in the world coordinate system based on the dynamical limits considered in our previous works. The Russian literature, as one of the leading literatures in the world, has closely interacted with such limits. The limits of the human soul, historical collisions were especially deeply investigated, but they could not be connected with other similar limits (social, economic).
