Parents’ assessment of the role of gadgets in raising preschool children

Abstract
The study of the influence of gadgets on children is a relevant topic that causes a lot of discussion and disagreement among parents, teachers and specialists in the field of child development. Indeed, the use of smartphones and other gadgets can have both pros and cons, and it is important to balance their use to create a healthy and fulfilling child’s life. The content of the article discusses the results of a study of the attitude towards the use of electronic gadgets by preschoolers of parents in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The authors conclude that the appropriate and standardized use of gadgets in combination with other types of activity and communication is important for achieving the harmonious development of a child. Parents and teachers should be aware of children’s use of gadgets, set rules and control screen time to ensure educational and educational effect. The need to study alternative forms of leisure for preschool children to actualize the value of interaction with parents is substantiated.
