Using the analogy technique to teach phonetics of RFL to Vietnamese students using the material of Russian songs

Abstract
Nowadays the relevance of studying the Russian language for the Vietnamese is due to increased contacts between Vietnam and Russia. Phonetics is one of the important sections when learning any foreign language. Often, insufficient attention is paid to the phonetics section when teaching Russian as a foreign language, and methods of mastering phonetics are largely reduced to a narrow set of tasks: “listen and repeat,” “read,” “retell.” The urgent task is to extend the list of methods and techniques used for studying the phonetics of Russian as a foreign language, so that the learning process itself is more effective and interesting for students. This article addresses an important topic for teachers of Russian as a foreign language, especially those who work with Vietnamese students. It focuses on the problem of organizing classes to develop phonetic skills. In this context, one of the methods used to develop phonetic elements is analogy. The purpose of this work is to clarify the essence and significance of the analogy method in teaching Russian as a foreign language and to show its role in teaching phonetics using the material of Russian songs popular in Vietnam. Particular attention is paid to the methods of using analogy and its advantages, illustrating this with examples from Russian songs popular in Vietnam. In this work, we are faced with the task of revealing the essence of the analogy technique, its functions and characteristics, drawing a parallel between the phonetics of the Russian and Vietnamese languages, and also giving examples of the use of Russian songs to teach the phonetics of RFL to Vietnamese students. The research methodology is based on general scientific methods of description, interpretation, comparison and classification. The object of the study was the mechanisms of using analogy in the formation of phonetic skills, their structural and stylistic specificity and functional characteristics. The novelty of the study lies in the use of the analogy method on the material of Russian songs popular in Vietnam, with the aim of teaching the phonetics of Russian as a foreign language. The prospect of further research involves the use of the analogy method, and then the analogy approach to form an educational and methodological complex and methodological recommendations for teaching phonetics of RFL to Vietnamese students.
