В современном мире русский язык приобретает все большее значение. Его использование и влияние в различных сферах международной деятельности - это уже непреложный факт. Укрепление русского языка в Российской Федерации, его популяризация в странах Ближнего зарубежья и продвижение русского языка за рубежом являются отражением стратегического развития России. В соответствии с этим количество иностранцев, обучающихся в российских вузах, с каждым годом увеличивается. СВФУ не является исключением. Количество иностранных студентов, магистрантов, аспирантов, обучающихся в разных учебных подразделениях нашего университета, увеличивается с каждым годом и насчитывает более 300 студентов. Являясь международным учебным и научно-исследовательским центром, СВФУ сегодня получил еще один статус. Он стал международным координационным центром русистики благодаря плодотворной работе филологического факультета в целом и кафедры РКИ в частности в продвижении русского языка за рубежом. Проводимые преподавателями ФЛФ различные мероприятия в странах АТР («Дни русского языка СВФУ» в Китае, Республике Корея, Японии, Монголии и др., международные научно-практические конференции по русистике, форумы, конкурсы по русскому языку и др.) снискали авторитет СВФУ не только в этих странах, но и среди российских вузов.
In the modern world, the Russian language is becoming increasingly important. Its use and influence in various fields of international activity is an indisputable fact. The strengthening of the Russian language in the Russian Federation, its popularization in the countries of the near abroad and the promotion of the Russian language abroad are a reflection of the strategic development of Russia. In accordance with this, the number of foreigners studying in Russian universities is increasing every year. The North-Eastern Federal University is no exception. Over 300 foreign students, undergraduates, graduate students study at different educational departments of our university. As an international educational and research center, the NEFU today received another status. It has become the International Russian Studies Coordination Center, thanks to the fruitful work of the Faculty of Philology, in general, and the Department of RAFL, in particular. For promoting the Russian language abroad, various events have been held by the Faculty teachers in Asia-Pacific countries (“NEFU Days of the Russian language” in China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Mongolia, etc., international research and practical conferences on Russian Studies, forums, competitions in the Russian language, etc.), and they have earned the credit for the NEFU in these countries and among Russian universities.
